Thanks Charlie, yes the moldlines looked better I think, but still required plenty elbow grease!
I am now busy with the canopy latching system, I did find a more sutable canopy at the local hobby...

Hi Tony, thanks for the input.I think comparf may have desibned it a little larger deliberately to help with engine cooling, I might also be wrong.

The first pic above is of the model with the supplied canopy incl the fibreglass frame, second pic from the original, third pic from the model, but with a corrected canopy frame.

Do you guys also note the strange shape of the canopy that comes with the kit. Compared to the fullsize, this one looks way off! The bottom frame is too thin making the canopy look larger than it...

Noah, The Engine choice on this bird is a bit of a thumbsore, If you go with a gas engine you are left between choosing HIGHLY expensive or HIGHLY modified. No engine manufacturer will or can endorse...
