RE: RC10GT to SC10GT conversion

I have a conversion kit ad listed with lots of extras: conversion chassis, 1/8 scale wheels and conversion hubs, front and rear sc10 bumper and body posts. It worked very well, but I'm out of the...

RE: RC10GT to SC10GT conversion

ROBERTPAGE,

I would like to order a chassis. Are you still selling them? What body mounts would you recommend for the stock SC10 body?

RE: Traxxas Monster Buggy Clutch Problems

I would be glad to take pictures, but I dropped the car off at my LHS today to send back to Traxxas. The only thing I can figure is that the clutch itself is not working right and is some how...

Traxxas Monster Buggy Clutch Problems

I bought a Traxxas Monster Buggy new at the beginning of this summer and have had nothing but problems with the clutch bell. I have yet to make it through a tank of fuel without having the clutch...

RE: Rascal 40 Rolls

If you want to roll across the horizon without changing elevation it's time to learn to use rudder and elevator while rolling. You'll probably want to do it some day so you might as well start now. ...

RE: what bipe makes a good home for a g62

I have a G-62 in a Sig Sun Dancer and believe that it's a perfect match. The plane weighs just under 18lbs, has 1600 sq. in. wing area and floats like a feather. Hovering is at 1/2 throttle and...

RE: PRO MAC 610 Conversion

Captinjohn,
The engine shakes a little more than the 46, but still isn't bad at all (shaking could have been caused by air leak??). The CH syncrospark helps a lot and I'd hate to start the thing...

RE: PRO MAC 610 Conversion

Mr. Lambert,

What props did you have the best luck with? I have a 24x8 that I can try, but I'm afraid it's going to be too much for the engine. These engines are pretty common and cheap even...

RE: PRO MAC 610 Conversion

I did some flying this weekend with the new engine. The plane was previously on the tail heavy side and needed no elevator input while inverted with the poulan. The switch to the Mac 60 only...

RE: PRO MAC 610 Conversion

Dave,
To be more specific on the bearing question: The crankshaft is supported by a large diameter roller bearing in the front and a small diamerter torrington caged needle bearing assembly in the...

RE: PRO MAC 610 Conversion

Dave,
I turned the fins down using a makita grinder with a 60 grit sanding wheel. Pretty basic but it's cheap and did the job. This is a needle bearing engine (why do you ask?). I weighed the...

PRO MAC 610 Conversion

I just finished a conversion of a McCulloch PRO MAC 610 60cc chainsaw engine. I have been working on this engine for quite a while and just got around to finishing everything this past week. The...

RE: Texas Hurricane Landing Gear

I thought that I'd add that the original Ultra Stick 120 (not the lite version) landing gear are a great fit on the Hurricane and they are MUCH more beefy than the stock gear. The track is a little...

RE: Dreamer II, who made? Pics inside

That great looking biplane is a modified GeeBee Dreamer. Tower sells the kit that is manufactured by Gee Bee models. MrSteve09 built your plane and it's my understanding that it is a modified...

RE: new 40cc enter level gas engine from China

Hey guys,
I'm using lawnboy ashless for break-in, I'm at about 600 ft. ASL and I'm not new to engines. The point I was trying to make was that 7400 rpm with an 18x10 and 7450 with an 18x8 doesn't...

RE: have upload some photo on net

18 x 8 @ 7450 and 18 x10 @ 7400 doesn't make any sense?? Are these readings with or without the muffler. I have one of these engines and can't get it to turn over 6800 with a zinger 18 x 10 and no...

I have one of these engines that I'm setting up on a 23% Power-Line Edge 540 for a guy. I should have the engine running some time this week and I hope to do some flight tests by next week. I will...

RE: Muffler, RPM and Prop experience on Poulan 46 needed.

I might be interested in the engine. Do you have any pictures of it? What are you asking for it?

Thanks,

Which part number did you buy from graph tech?? Were they pre-drilled or did you get to drill a bolt pattern to fit the Hurricane? I'm looking to put my Hurricane on a bit of a diet and...

RE: Poulan 46- What plane you flying it in?

Tauri Flyer,
Tell me more about the Katana; I have researched it a little bit and for $200 it sounds like it can't be beat. I've got a Saito 91 that was going on a UCD 46 and now I'm thinking...

RE: Poulan 46- What plane you flying it in?

Hey, How's it going? I didn't figure anyone would still be following this. Your symptoms sound almost identical to what happened to me. I had the new poulan with a CH Electronics syncro spark...
