I have always used (nimh)2000mah batteries with no problems, Boomerang XL, Viper jet and Avonds F-15. I do check the battery after charging with a voltage tester under load and never had a problem....

I tried that about 6 times as I read this on some old posts. It still did not work. Pump voltage on GSU read 3.80 volts, and would not go any higher. I think the 400-B would be better like you said....

Well it does work, but I don't get the full RPM. I only get 104,000 RPM at full trottle when I should be getting 123,000. I think this is from the flightworks pump being too small, the model is 300B....

Is it OK to use a Flight Works Pump with a P120. This pump was used with my simjet 2300 turbine, I am having pump problems with my jetcat pump.

What voltage do I use to check the pump. Do I use the turbine battery or a lower voltage battery. The pump and turbine is about 8 years old.

No.

Did you get a puff of white smoke just prior to the flame out?

Yes, a good bit of white smoke. I was only 2 minutes into the flight.

GSU cord to LED I/O Board

I just brought a P120 from a friend, but it is missing the cord that plugs the GSU to the LED I/O Board. Can I use a use a regular telephone cord with 4 or 6 pins to make this connection.

Yes, nose was extended by 6 inches. Canards are mounted 24 inches in front of CG. Canards are 6-3/4 inches long at trailing edge and 3-3/4 wide. If I had to make them again I would make them longer...

4 flights, each flight is only 6 mins. do to the turbine size/fuel tank a 12 to 16lb thrust turbine will give a longer flight. I was using 25lb of thrust way to much.:D I never checked the batt after...
