What does balsa wood weight?

Hi. I'm currently designing my first airplane but I need to know how much weight I put into it. What does "normal" building balsa wood weight? Weight per cubic inch for example.

My first disaster with my boat happened today. I ran on a rock in high speed resulting in a flying boat and then a submarine. :p The engine got completely filled with water and I really don't know...

Thank you. The reciever looked a bit strange inside. Maby it was water damaged. I changed to another one and it seems to works fine now. :)

I tried my old Jetstream 1000 for the first time in six years a couple of days ago. I'm going to sell it so I wanted to try everything. Now to the problem.
