Many of you have the Attitude, Tiny or Tiny X, GymE or Wing-E from toddsmodels.com . Well, a chinese company is now selling exact copys of Todd's Attitude. They didnt even bother to change the name!...

RE: stuff from hobby-lobby.is this good?

If you want to save another 10 grams, and some cash, dont get the radial mount. The little AXI motors can be converted to radial operation without it and can then bolt directly to the firewall. To...

RE: Micro whizz

Brushless would be a MUCH better alternative than the suggested components. 18 ounces on a S280 WILL NOT WORK to enjoyably fly this plane. In fact, every review I have read in the internet about this...

RE: Great Planes Sukhoi SU-31

Great Planes is really pissen me off. I have the plans for the original Airwave Sukhoi, and plan to build it this summer. I think Great Planes had full knowledge of the success of your design, and...

RE: Noise level: Electric vs. Glow

I flew my Rascal 40 with an AXI 2820/10 brushless motor out at the glow field. I got comments like 'sounds like a vacuum flying around out there', and some of the old glow flyers started calling it...

RE: Kokam Raises the Bar - again!

Cool. What is the 'compression method'? Are you just clamping the tabs together?

RE: why do I fly to the left?

Airplanes are supposed to make better turns to the left, too. At least thats what my instructor always told me, so we always flew in a left-hand pattern.

RE: Great Planes Sukhoi SU-31

Has anybody found out whether Great Planes bought the rights to the Extreme Team Sukhoi, or if this is just an exact copy of somebody else's work?

RE: AXI to Jeti Phasor motor comparision

Correct. The black rear part spins, while the front is stationary. Some of the models can be reversed to allow for mounting on the front of a firewall, too. You can use mounts that allow you to mount...

RE: Kokam Raises the Bar - again!

Good point. These are a good solution if you just need to drop alot of weight over nicads and dont mind giving up alot of flight time. I still want to know the price, though, i have a feeling it aint...

RE: Kokam Raises the Bar - again!

So, how much do they cost?

Untill they find a way to drop the weight some more, they dont look all that attractive to me, over the Irate cells. I believe the newest irates come with much thicker...

RE: GWS vs. APC??

Both are good in different ways. APC props can handle more RPM's and are said to be more efficient, but i have found they are easier to snap than GWS, which bend quite a bit. At really high RPM's the...
