I flew my Rascal 40 with an AXI 2820/10 brushless motor out at the glow field. I got comments like 'sounds like a vacuum flying around out there', and some of the old glow flyers started calling it...

Airplanes are supposed to make better turns to the left, too. At least thats what my instructor always told me, so we always flew in a left-hand pattern.

Good point. These are a good solution if you just need to drop alot of weight over nicads and dont mind giving up alot of flight time. I still want to know the price, though, i have a feeling it aint...

Untill they find a way to drop the weight some more, they dont look all that attractive to me, over the Irate cells. I believe the newest irates come with much thicker...

cheapbatterypacks.com has 500 mah Lipo cells, can do packs for 5 dollars extra per cell. All their lithium cells are 10c capable, with bursts to 15c.

cheapbatterypacks.com has Irate cells and special solder/flux. All their cells are true 10c cells too, and pretty cheap.
