I have a Rossi NS12 and that engine is "sick". it is witout a doubt on of the fastest engine I have ever seen. HPI makes a knock of version(not turbo). and it is not even close to the same speed.

I don't think that is smoke. It looks like foam or something to make is look like his car is smoking. There is not marks on the ground nor is there smoke coming from the pip on the other side.

The TC3 is the perfect kit for the first time builder. I put my kit together in about 3-4 hours. It may take you a bit longer. I built many kits over the years.

The instructions are very clear...

I have 2 R40s in one I have the NS12 and in the Other I have the HPI RX12.. the NS12 is hands down the fastest engine that I have even seen. amazing response. but it is not ROAR legal.

Well you want it to be hard to pull that means you have compression. I always put some after run oil in my engine before I break them in to reduce the wear caused by first few pulls

I use a venom fail safe with Nimh pack and never had a problem. The only one I have a problem with is my t-Maxx with standard duracells. but I dont' know why.
