Thanks Guy's for the input,I have a 35% and 40% Edge and Extra and they have some serious right thrust.Was just wonder on the older pattern ships never really flew them until now.

Foam Core Wing Question

Any one adding carbon liminates for spars in there foam core wings?.If so what type and size.Did'nt add any on my tipo I just finished,just used some heavy glass colth about 4 inch wide and 3\32...

Mach 1 , Does it need right thrust?

Building a old Midwest mach 1 and the plans show no right or down thrust.Hate to have to put it in after its finished.I know i put some right thrust in the tiporare i just finished.

Ok Guy's don't cut it up to Bad......Flew it last weekend and she flew sweet.The weather was pretty bad just did some basic stuff and it tracked excellent.Yes its a tail dragger and its a inverted os...

Question......How many sevros you use

Just fininsed up a Tiporare and used a servo for each control surface and it flys great.Starting on a Mach 1 and thinking on going Ol Skoll and cut back on the servos.Is there any rules that apply on...

Thanks again Tim for your help,Should have it ready next weekend.Hope it don't fly like a brick, Its coming out pretty heavy.Hope i can keep around 8 1/2 pounds.

Thanks for your help Tim and Dave,I was pretty close with my guess it calculated to 5.23 with the link Tim gave me.That at about 33 %.Have Mach 1 to start on next and the CG on the plans looks way...

Thanks Tim,But i have no plans was just a glass fuse and cores i got at a swap meet.Plus i made it with retracts.
