The pilot called out in the manuel is a bad choice. GP has others that fit without carving them up. The weight will vary a bunch from one ARF to the other. The engine choice has a bunch to do with...

Change the landing gear. You won't be happy with the gear in the wings. They will break at the mounts or bend and are a pain to transport.

Yep it looks to be the same distance. Because I have a trans with enough chanels I'm going to put each elavator half on a different chanel.

Thanks safe that helps as shorter arms will work. I guess I will have to adjust the elevator travel with 2 chanels on the transmitter.

Using the stock wheels set up. Didn't tack it but will do that tomorrow. Your 180 should do just fine as it is a beast. Dropping a cylinder when the glow is on is a problem.
