I'm sort of new at this. All the receivers I've looked at have the battery plugging into one of the channels. Does this mean if I need 4 channels I'll need a 5 channel receiver or how does it work...

That's what I'm sort of thinking but everything I've read talks about running it up to peak rpm to adjust, How do I do that when I'm not able to fly yet just, hover for a few minutes at 1/2 throttle....
