RE: Exceed F-35 Lightning II ARF

Thanks! Just the response I was looking for.

It looks pretty fast in the video. Do you think the stock setup is good enough or would you recommend a different motor/esc/battery (ie like the one...

Exceed F-35 Lightning II ARF

Anyone tried this? This looks pretty sweet.

There's a bare bones version for $130 and a fully...

RE: Blade MSR -

Thanks. Yeah I've been searching here and on Google. So far no luck. I even bought an e-book specific to the MSR, but the TBE advice there didn't help either. I have tightened and loosened the...

RE: Blade MSR -

I followed their troubleshooting "guide". To be honest, their three suggestions for fixing TBE all failed. I tried all three of them in succession, none of which corrected the issue. I then went to...

RE: Blade MSR -

The bottom line is that it is moving in weird directions when I leave it neutral. What is also strange is if I move it forward then return the stick to neutral, the heli will drift backwards almost...

Blade MSR - "toilet bowl" effect

I am wondering how common this flight characteristic is. It is described in the manual, and I am now seeing it in mine. When I hold everything neutral the heli will make small circles about two feet...

RE: Just FRIED my Blade MSR batteries

Yeah I can try that. The pins on the battery are really small, so it will take some sleight of hand.

RE: Just FRIED my Blade MSR batteries

I made sure I pushed them in there, but to no avail.

RE: Just FRIED my Blade MSR batteries

I don't have any D batteries in the charger, I was just using wall current.

RE: Just FRIED my Blade MSR batteries

I am using the stock charger that came with the Blade MSR bnf package. I am pretty sure the batteries have failed because I put them on the heli and nothing happened. I then put them in the charger...

RE: Just FRIED my Blade MSR batteries

When I am running low and the heli starts to blink, can I remove them from the heli and store them, or do I need to slightly charge them for storage?

Just FRIED my Blade MSR batteries

I did not know that leaving them attached to the charger when the charger is not connected to anything would destroy them. Now I do..

Is there a more expensive charger available for these...

RE: Blade MSR moves forward, cannot stop it

There was a slight tweak caused by a crash that I readjusted and now it hovers almost perfectly. Whew!

RE: What's a good medium sized electric?

I have a mini charger for my Blade MSR bnf but no other charger. It looks like it can only charge smaller batteries, like the 100-150 mah range but I am not certain about that.

Ok, I will also...

RE: What's a good medium sized electric?

thanks Rafael. This is a possible choice, but it's definitely on the smaller end: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=BLH3180

but it is still bigger than my blade MSR, which...

RE: What's a good medium sized electric?

Yeah that's beginning to look like the #1 candidate, but it's PNP not BNF as far as I can tell. I'd still need to add a receiver, charger, etc.

RE: What's a good medium sized electric?

Based on that photo, I'd definitely say the 400-450 is closer to what I'm looking for, I could go maybe as small as 300. If anyone has recommendations for a BNF or ARF etc. (I am ruling out that...

RE: What's a good medium sized electric?

thank you gentlemen. I will take all of this into consideration. Pardon me for not knowing the commonly accepted standard for a "medium" sized electric.

What would be a "large" electric in your...

What's a good medium sized electric?

I'm looking for a single rotor model. I have a blade MSR and I'd like something similar but larger, preferably BNF for my Spektrum DX7. What's a good one?

thanks,
Joel

Blade MSR moves forward, cannot stop it

I have a Blade MSR I've been flying for a couple days. I have noticed that it is now moving forward even when I use full trim backwards. The only way to get it to hover steadily is to pull back on...

RE: YS-63 surging problem

SORRY to bother you all again about this engine but --- I still cannot get it to stop surging. I am considering taking it apart and searching for internal problems. I ran a Saito 82 successfully on...

YS 63 - support problem

Hi,

I recently posted about my YS 63 that was surging. Well, I continued testing it on a test stand and it still surges. Since YS fixed my other .63 for the same problem, I thought I would...
