Yeah I can try that. The pins on the battery are really small, so it will take some sleight of hand.

I don't have any D batteries in the charger, I was just using wall current.

I did not know that leaving them attached to the charger when the charger is not connected to anything would destroy them. Now I do..

Is there a more expensive charger available for these...

There was a slight tweak caused by a crash that I readjusted and now it hovers almost perfectly. Whew!

Yeah that's beginning to look like the #1 candidate, but it's PNP not BNF as far as I can tell. I'd still need to add a receiver, charger, etc.
