Thanks for the info. I reversed the motor leads and it works great. Much more power with the gearboxes and and the 9x6 props comared to the stock wingo props direct drive.

Also, I don't think the EPA should have to be changed to prevent the motor from cutting off. Sounds more like a Battery voltage or ESC problem to me.

If you have a voltmeter, you could measure the battery and receiver voltage to see how low it goes just before your motor cuts off.
Also I'm not sure but I think you would want to reduce the end...

Is it OK to reverse the motor wires on a Speed 400 motor?. Will I lose a lot of power or efficiency doing this? Here is a pic of the gearbox/motor: .

I used a TV-VCR combo and powered it with a power inverter. A camcorder with a video input and a lcd screen would be easier, but I don't have one yet.
