RE: tower hobbies .46 engines

RE: Cheap Header Tank

Yeah, I did notice that now that you mention it. I just figured it was becasue the engine was hotter, and leaned itself out. Didn't realize it had something to do with the fuel tank.

Thanks...

RE: How do you hold the gimbels?

For planes, I use thumbs. Heli I use pinch.

I feel I have better control using pinch on the heli for finer stick control. Planes to me are a little more "loose" and don't require such tight...

RE: Cleaning Solvents, What do you use?

Interesting ideas. I do store my radios in ziplock bags, and my heli in a garbage bag. Leaving it slightly open to "breathe". I found out that a good way also, is to cover up the radio equipt....

Cleaning Solvents, What do you use?

For years now, I have been using Simple Green to clean my planes, and helis. The problem is that there is just some spots you can't reach with out using a Q-tip or something of that nature. I have...

RE: Cheap Header Tank

So, basically a header tank depletes the amount of foam produced in the main tank. I realize you had a "vision problem" seeing your tank on your shuttle, thus I can see why a header tank would be...

RE: Piezo Gyro Problem today need help

RE: What a difference a "real" gyro makes.

I agree, and have felt the same exact way. My heli would sit on the shelf for months, because it was to frustrating and exspensive at times. I too didn't feel like going through the hassle of...

RE: I smell burning plastic

Probably :-(

Double check your connections, and try it again. If there is no response from the heli then I would have to say "Yeppers you fried it!". I did this same basic thing on a RC car...

RE: What a difference a "real" gyro makes.

Day 2:
Went threw 2 tanks of fuel! Landing maybe 3 - 4 times to calm my nerves :) I am just amazed at the difference in flight with a SMM type gyro. I always knew I could fly this thing like it...

What a difference a "real" gyro makes.

I just got a brand new Futaba Gy240 off Ebay for my Nexus 30. I have been flying with a Helimax piezo gyro for about 3 years, and I have been fighting the tail one way or another for the last 3...
