Pitch/throttle curves

I am building a trex 500x and will be using a futaba 16sz ,the radio manual tells you how to set up a curve, the heli directions talk about curves but neither tell you why have them or what do they...

Swash plate

I am building a trex 550x and want to use a furaba 16SZ to fly it the directions for the radio has me to pick what type of swash plate it is using, the heli directions doesn't say what kind it is....

I have two 16sz transmitters one heli one airplane how do I tell them apart I know both will fly either but I want to use the heli version for a trex500x not the airplane version

Oiling the filter traps smaller particles that would otherwise pass thru the air filter and ruin your engine.
