I got this engine from Cactus Aviation while I was in USA. They sell a very nice pitts style Jhoson muffler which is much simple to install that those canisters. I talked with 3W in Germany...

I got 8040 rpms today with the 18*8 Menz in my 3W 28i. Not even flying yet. I am thinking to use this engine to power the Gene Extra 160. The idle was nice at 1500 - 1600 range, even with a wood...

I am breakin in a new 3W 28 i engine with a Menz S 18*8. The engine has only one tank (14oz) and I am getting 7800 on the rich side. I have not even flying with it, just started it first...

Anyone had tried Klotz-Heli (light weight viscosity) on his DZ? I need to mix my own fuel and I am considering this Klotz heli...any opinion?

I am learning the hardest way...so I prefer to ask you one question : Is it absolutely necessary that the holes you make in your prop. fits perfectly the screws, or it is OK to go a little bit bigger...

I tried the drill backwards, but I have only the regular drill bit that goes clockwise, I will check if there are the counter clockwise somewhere. Also, how to remove the hub? need an special...

I will check with 3W. I guess I need to change the hub. ...and.I will buy a torque wrench....
I drill the bolt in the middle to see if I could introduce and solder a wire so to turn it out. not...

Well, feel bad. This is kind of embarrassing, but I will have to fly with 5 bolts...actually I didnt feel like I press that hard, I took the allen half way to avoid over pressing, might be the screw...

I was using a 16*8 apc on my Saito 180 and I was getting 9700rpms, and then, I switched to 16*8 MA and got too much rpms, around 10900, so I have to move to a MA 16*10. Then I searched here in RCU...

It sounds good. I frankly thought that that kind of numbers would be for a YS 110, so the YS 110 must use a much bigger prop of that kind. If you are using a MA prop (dont know if they have 3 blade)...

Is there place enough to lower the fuel tank inside the fuse, or your engine installations have all the fuel tank a little over the carb. line.?:eek:

I have weighted mine, with a Saito 180, stans fiber cowl, TNT thickest LG, 2700 Expert 6 volt = 9,9 lbs (4.5 Kg)
This is a very good plane, it is not a Patty Extra from GP, but it is a nice kit...

The plane is on balance with the Saito 180 and a 6 volt 2700 map battery pack below the fuel tank and two elevator servos at the back. I need to paint the cowl now. The LG is a bit forward to avoid...

Some progress. The rudder will have more authority, also ailerons, it was a 3D kind of modification.
