I ended up watching a video that compared the two and pulled the trigger on two Tenacity Pros. :) I'm wondering if it wouldn't be worth it going with the Vorteks and buying maybe some extra...

New to cars... should I build a kit, but something cheaper and upgrade, or buy up?

Hi everyone,

Flown planes for a while. Wanting to dip my toes into ground stuff. :)

I don't want to spend a ton of money as I'll likely be buying two trucks, one for me and one for my...

RE: bought mcx2, what about the msr now?

I will say don't expect to just magically fly the mSR out of the box... lol... I made that mistake. :D Several small crashes later, I was in the air, though. Man, I'm going to have to go home and...

RE: bought mcx2, what about the msr now?

I started off on the mSR that I got for Christmas. This past weekend I bought a Mini Titan. :)

The mSRs are great and easy to fly. It definitely took some practice, but within a week I felt...

Hi all,

I'm picking up a Blade mSR for Christmas which comes with a Celectra 4-port charger. I'd rather not have to buy batteries for it all the time if I don't have to, and I'd like to be able...

Charging 2 NiMh packs in series if both new?

Hi all,

I've read that you shouldn't charge NiMh packs in series due to all of the cells being different. I've also read that you need to break-in new packs by cycling them so that the cells...

RE: looking for a good nimh charger on a budget

I just picked up an Imax B6 for around $24 shipped on eBay. Charges great and is quite inexpensive to get me started on cycling my batteries.

For a bit more money, you can get an iCharger 106B+...

RE: Mounting NiCd's to starter?

That's nice! But maybe a bit over the top. :) I'd probably just go with a Rat Shack project box. :) In fact, I may have an extra one... hmmm... may have to look for that tonight.

Thanks for...

RE: Mounting NiCd's to starter?

That makes sense. Most everyone seems to be worried about the voltage dropping too low with the lipos on a starter.

I'm thinking one of these would be cheap insurance against such:

Mounting NiCd's to starter?

Hi all,

I picked up two NiCd battery packs so I can shed my field box on my starter and I was wondering how everyone was mounting them to their starters.

I'm thinking zip ties and maybe...

RE: Custom Transmitter Carrying Case-Help

RE: AR6200 & Dx5e problem

Whats the latest on this?

I'm trying to decide on getting a 6200 or a 500 for my trainer, when and if I go to 2.4Ghz.

Also, which field are you flying at?
