RE: E-Maxx Roll-Cage

It might. The RC Solutions tmaxx cage will not fit the emaxx, but other brands of tmax cages might.

RE: ID old OS 45

I put it back together last night and bench ran it. It says OS Max and 45 F on the case. It runs good, it hit 12,800 rpm with a 10-6 and 20% heli fuel. Here is another look.

ID old OS 45

I have an old OS engine I want to identify. It says .45 on case and crank, and 4BK on the carb. Here is a pic of the internals. It is a ringed engine and in very good condition.

My guess is a 45...

RE: XXX-4 or convert 1/8 buggy to electric?

I have a C50 12L. On 12 cells it will be a rocket, easily as quick as a buggy with a .21 sport engine.

XXX-4 or convert 1/8 buggy to electric?

I have seen the XXX-4 do amazing things with good drivers (like 30' high backflips at RCX with the Hacker brushless guys driving) and I have considered getting one, but I have also heard the xxx-4...

RE: Engine and Cage Question

iamthor, the truckzilla 46 engine will clear the stock savage RCS cage rail height wise, but it will interfere with the cage rail where it turns down. You would need to modify the heat sink for...

RE: Stronger gears for Hitec HS 55?

Thanks guys. Foamaholic, there are no metal 55 gears on servo city. But I did discover the 56 HB, as rcelect said, which looks like the way to go.

Stronger gears for Hitec HS 55?

I am using HS 55's on a foamy parkflyer by insanefoamies.com. They work great except the geartrain is very delicate. A hard landing or even bumping the plane getting it out of the truck often results...

RE: Li-poly life and charge rates

Thanks guys. I ran them mostly on a Wattage Live wire with a gws 350c with c gears and a 1047 prop, with amp draw around 7-8. The ones that have lost capacity are 2 cell Thunderpower 1320's and a...

Li-poly life and charge rates

I have bought 9 li polys in the last year, and some are down to half capacity after 40 to 50 cycles. They have never been discharged to 3.0 v or less, and I charge them on a Triton at 1C. What is the...

Extreme Flight Mini 3D to electric?

The Mini 3D is a sweet little plane - watch the video. Has anyone converted one to electric? What motor did/would you use?

RE: Does anybody fly Accipiter Badius in here?

Hi all, this is a great thread. I have been flying Accipiters (asspeter!) with a friend for about 2 months. It is a good plane - tough, good performance, and dirt cheap. It is tons better than the...
