I heard that too. Anybody have any pics of that setup? The old steerable strut made the boat a roll over special. Went straight nice.

What if you used Ulracal 30 or Hydro Stone. That stuff is like granite. Much better than Plaster of Paris.

I just happen to have a bucket of aluminum powder from Fiberlay I bought to make plugs for the vac machine. The stuff is so fine I don't even take the lid off without a resperator.

Carbon or aluminum powder will reinforce the epoxy if I use it as my surface coat. That I understand but doesn't it also make for a grainy surface that is difficult to polish.

I was thinking about using the surface coat that freeman sells. They are a 1/4 mile from my plastic sheet supplier. Just easy for me. I really like the idea of not having to spray. No place to do...

Is there a core material that is flexible enough to be made curved? Honeycomb or otherwise?
