RE: Pacific Planes 35% Extra 260

Just FYI. this is a completely different airframe then the Aeroworks. I had the opportunity to see them side by side at the 2007 Flying giants Huckfest fly-in in St Louis. The PP airfoil is much...

RE: HARRIS AND ANDERSON 35% KATANA ?

I took most of the mixes out from the model I copied from. It WAS a true flier. No-adverse roll or coupling, and CG seemed to be right on. The tenth flight however, the wing-tube folded at the right...

RE: HARRIS AND ANDERSON 35% KATANA ?

I got the maiden flight out of the way yesterday. The CG seems to be right on the money. It landed very predictably. I was worried it would be tail heavy with the BME engine, so I moved all the...

RE: 30% KMP Extra Builld

I assumed.. that this was a 1" wing tube... Ordered a 1"X36" from TBM.

The tube that was in it is ~.985.. or .. 25mm.. and is too tight.[:@]

RE: BME 115 Any Field Reports?

I received my copy of the unit a couple weeks ago. It had the big "old" carb on it, and tall reed block.

I mounted it to a H9 Sukhoi. Test fired it in the driveway with a MSC 27X10 fat blade...

RE: 30% KMP Extra Builld

Well after about 6 flights, I was starting to get comfurtable with it. IT does pretty good at ~18+# full of fuel. Doesn't wing rock to bad. Running a 24X8 MSC on the 80, and pretty steep throttle...

RE: 30% KMP Extra Builld

RE: 30% KMP Extra Builld

Well, we checked incidence on Extra. As I may have mentioned before, neither wing alignment would fit in the fuselage out of the box. So I had to use “woller” technology to get the wings fit....
