The connecting rod. Crank shaft end of the con rod. The Brass bearing was coming out in small bits. Bearing being a part of the con rod. Only at the piston side of the bearing.

Only had it a few months. Had about 6 gallons. Just changed from coolpower %15 to magnum 20%. Was running LOVELY last time out. Started the engine took off idle up to 1750 start a slow climbout...

I used plenty of Loctite and a heavy hand im now thinking. No problems so far. Fingers crossed.

I think this is a mod for the V3. Everyone like doing things up tight on helis so they dont undo.

I've fixed mine now and its flying lovely again. Think I over tightened mine too but it lasted...

I fitted a new digital servo, new battery and balanced my blades. Went out in the first bit of sun we have had. Raptor 50 V2 5 months old.

Started the engine. Give it 50% throttle as I normally...

Just got my nice new 9254 and it says Ni-Cd use only.

WHY

I only use nmih or whatever it is. Im gutted.

Anyone got a good reason for this.

Im not happy about buying a new battery...

Make sure your linkage are not to stiff. Im told this can burnout and digital servo. Tools are available to wear ball links so they fit nice. www.raptortechnique.com has some good information.

I've only been flying helis for about 5 months so check on what i have to say. Them blades are for a 50 size heli. I got the same on my Raptor 50 v2. My mates got a Raptor 30 that uses 550mm blades....

GY502 with S9253 servo (Tail seems slow, have to use at least 1/3 stick when flying circuits and the servo stops...

I've got a spare fast(0.09sec/60deg 1.4kg) mini supertec servo that im thinking of using with GV-1. I dont realy want to spend £30 on a fast servo. Are supertec any good.

High or low nitro ??

The instructions for my Webra 52 AAR say use 15-20% nitro. The richer setting allows cooler running they say. But my local model shop are using 0% and say high nitro would wear engine quicker.
