No. They increased their prices by $20 about 5 years ago. Below is my order history from Tower on 6/19/2007.

If there are any of these kits you may have been planning on getting, you can still get them from Omni (Tower) through Ebay. They still have them at the old prices with free shipping but I'll bet...

Holy crap! I bought my TF Cessna 182 for $149 a few years ago. Then I think it went up to $199. Now it's $269. The TF giant scale kits have all gone up $50 since I last looked at them a few weeks...

I tried adding length to one a few years ago and it did help but if I had to chose one I'd go with counterbalance just to use the opportunity to save some servo drain. I never tried using both...

Iexperimented with bunch of ideas on the best way to modify the rudder and this one worked best for me overall. Cutting the rudder counterbalance at an angle really did make a noticable difference...
