RE: 3w 106 initial test run and observations cont.

RE: one way check valve for gas engines

If you use a check valve you are allowing pressure to build up in the tank... (assuming you are trying to keep fuel from spewing out of the tank during downlines, etc).. problem is that when the...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

I would not use CA - there is not enough wood to adhere to and what is there in the fuse is laser cut plywood, which CA does not stick to very well. Gorilla Glue is a much better solution than CA...

RE: Need help--sizing batery for a 10 servo system

For a warbird I would use dual 2400 mAH Li-Ion with 6V regs or dual 5-cell 1950 mAH NiMh... definitely use duals... it does not add that much weight and backs up the one major source of failure...

RE: AEROWORKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Yeah but did you ask them for any replacement parts yet ????
I guess old dogs can learn new tricks. That Katana was one of the poorest built, worst supported planes I have ever come across.

My pilot would probably be pondering the thought of how he was going to pick all the little chunks of breakfast out of the gauges, and clean the canopy so he could see again, and especially how he...

RE: DA50 RPM's

Unless you are trying to power a Comp-Arf 2.3 or heavy pig don't worry about the RPM. This engine will produce enough power on a stock muffler to haul a 16 pound plane into space. Tune the...
