RE: I NEED CONFIGURATION HELP!

Aerofly uses the interface cable to keep people from pirating their software. It will not run without an interface cable.

Go buy a copy.

RE: Wingtote Heckler 3D manual missing from box

I put a old 1985 Webra .28 on mine and it hovered at a little over half throttle and came in at 3 1/2 lbs. It wasn't a rocket out of a hover, but it had plenty of pull out.

I briefly put on a...

RE: 65" Yak and YS 120

I don't understand Mike. Did you mean to say the Y gets plugged into the Left Aileron servo, then one side goes to the battery and the other to the RX?

RE: Mouse pointer slow movement?

Mine did that before I upgraded my processor and video card. I'm no techie but my father says in the scheme of things, the pointer is the first to show weakness when your system is overwhelmed.

RE: Question about using JR 8103

Dion,

I have upgraded to a 9303 and my cable doesn't work with it. What can I do? Apparently I missed the main point of this message somewhere.

RE: NASHVILLE PRO BRO - THE KING DADDY

You only need a Permit if you live in Davidson or any of the surrounding counties that touch it.

This permit thing goes back to the mid-80's and a modeler with poor judgement intentionally...

RE: Why 2 strokes?

Ask Kenny and Mike B what they think of my 4lb+ OMP Edge 540/ 4-stroke after they flew it Sunday morning. Both told me they were ready to order one on the spot.

Yeah, you got 'em Jim! Mike...

RE: Why 2 strokes?

I can't agree with your Ford-Chevy analogy here dweller. That is purely a "Brand" discussion of products of the same basic design. This discussion is a debate about the fundemental design...

RE: Why 2 strokes?

What do they say? "Different strokes for different folks", kind of applies unusually well here :)

Yeah, I guess I'm weird. I prefer the 2 stroke sound on a aerobatic bird. To me, the 4-stroke...

RE: Gordo-Outlaw update

Steve, your political views are quite diverse.........first you push a national (read:communistic) health care system. Then you quote Ben Franklin about the virtues of Freedom. [sm=confused.gif]

RE: Why 2 strokes?

I don't care about price. I'll fly what is best for any particular application. With that being said, I'll never fly a 4-Stroke on a .40 sized profile for a couple of reasons.

The first and...

RE: ProBro in Cookeville TN JULY 17-18

I think Mike has some. John also has several sizes of plans. We've built 18", 22", 28" (what you flew in Memphis), 30", 32", 34", 36" and even a 60" Giant Scale with 2 brushless motors for power. ...

RE: Servo Specifications for 40 size profiles

Steve, I like to build light. Standard servos are heavy/bulky. I bought the HS-85's and 225MG's because of their power to weight ratio. On paper, they should be good performers and you get good...

RE: Servo Specifications for 40 size profiles

Thanks Gordo. I'm not buying any more hitec servos. I've bought 7 and 3 went bad installing or within 3 flights. 1 HS-85, 2 225MG's

I think I'll use 40oz as my guide.

RE: Servo Specifications for 40 size profiles

Are most standard servos around 40 oz?
