RE: Anything besides high speed fly bys?

I remember that. Wasn't it built as part of a contest?

BTW, a couple people said 3D. Gads no, I didn't mean 3D with a jet. The thought of it makes my stomach hurt. Just pushing the limits in a...

RE: AMA Anti 3D Rule, 3D Support Needed

Who fickin' cares about the AMA. Clubs and the AMA give us one thing and one thing only we need to fly. A big place with a runway. For the most part 3D doesn't need any runway at all. I hate 3D (ok,...

RE: G Planes Ultra sport 40 ARF

I haven't seen it but I'm guessing there's no glass where the wing half join. Add fiberglass.

RE: Touchin the tail

Personally I'm not interested in 3D and think the name is kinda funny (not try to start anything agian) but I've always been for the underdog and outcast. I feel for you guys. Good luck on figuring...

RE: Aileron came off

Hey look, another ARF/RTF where the wing broke at the lame non-glassed wing center. ***sarcasm of***

RE: Cardboard Delta Pics

mjse:

Flew OK. One of the neat things was, if you pulled full back in a turn the speed would bleed off imidiately and it would "skid" through the turn. Looked neat at least. I need to make...

RE: Adjusting carb on a Norvel .074

How many times do you think it's user error. Let me correct myself, I intended to use Norvel 25%. I altually mistakenly used Cool Power 15% because I was bench running an OS .46 LA the day before....

RE: Is ruder required ?

The question used the word "require(d)" and not the word "smooth". The answer is no. It doesn't matter much what plane it is, if it has ailerons, rudder is not required. It would make life much...

RE: Which Glue

OK, now you guys got me wondering. Why is it so important to use 30 minute instead of 5 or 15? Besides the handling time I mean.

RE: U Can Do 3D as a trainer?

I have to disagree (as usual). I've had a couple trainers after I learned to fly and I'm still unclear why a trainer makes good trainers. They bounce all over the sky like a rag doll. Unless the...

RE: Semi-bi-annual, Intergalactic, 1/2A and smaller everybody flies the same day – in different places

Slightly off topic: Just an idea. Would someone be interested in flying by proxy at the next small fly-in? i.e. I put my little plane in a box and mail it to you. You send it back (or what's left of...
