the four stars are extremely light airplanes that will float forever. the recommended engine is plenty for it, i would suggest an OS fx. i have a four star 40 with an OS .46fx. wonderful airplane....

The 46fx is discontinued, it is bieng replaced by the 46AX(os found a cheap way to manufacture the fx)
about the only differances that I know of are the head is now a four bolt head instead of six,...

one safty issue I forgot is that if your using accelerator(kicker) MAKE SURE you dont have any ca on your fingers, it get VERY hot very fast and will burn you good

I don't know about the jr 610, but i've got a jr 700 in my trainer, and a hitec triple-nickle in my combat planes, never had any trouble with any of them(the 555 is a tough little bugger...:eek:)
