I see that you dissembled the engine. I have never than apart a FS. Does it need to be completely taken apart to change the timing?Can I just pull the push rods?

I've been running in a Mag 120FS and now have about 1 1/2 hours on it. It will only tach about 5600 rpm. It doesn't matter if the trottle is half open or all open still only 5600. I'm using 15% fuel...

I have just maidened a 40+ with a Surpass 70. Sweet flyer. Easy build and no carving the nose as with the others. The 70 is not over power for the airframe, but maybe it with be better with more time...

good luck on the build. I also agree that the clipped wing version is a better flyer. I built the full wing version and what a pain in the butt. If any wind at all , ground looped like a #*%$##....

TB & Dar..Well I pulled the head and no liner peeling, so I guess that is not the problem. I'm going down state in week, to the big city, and I will get some proper fuel and a new glow plug supply....
