My guess is that you have more rpm with the new motor and stock prop and therefore it rolls over from the torque.

Try a smaller prop or use less voltage (less cells).

Are you using 2S or 3S?...

I have run a 447 2 blade in my Miss Geico. It is Detounged a fair bit and after 6 laps plus mill on a 1/6th mile course the motor comes back quite hot. Good for competition but, not for sport.

Those are nice but, I've heard quality is not so great once you get it. Loose parts inside or little glue to hold things down. The layer of gel coat is very thin I've heard too.

Poor electronics, poorly made PLASTIC hull.

You cannot push a plastic hull passed 40mph and expect it to live...

Yes, on cold days tape does not stick well in Canada or anywhere.

So, what you can do is use hatch locks on the rear like gas boats and put a rubber seal on the bottom of each one to keep water...
