Is single conversion 4 channel receiver enough to put on my spirit (2M sailplane) or is it suicide.

I am seriously thinking about the eco 8 as it has engine included for $200 and the bird looks stable enough (and simple enough).

So whats the point in having a 4stroke engine besides the fact they look soooo sexy (but the sex appeal hopefully wont affect my buying decision).
