i got a used simjet 2300 along with a fadec au-303 ecu, unfortunally without any manual.

that means there is no need for the preinstalled bearing (part 4) in the clutch bell? If i remove this bearing from the bell, i can mount the pinion and it fits perfect. I just dont...

Vagent,

you have a different CDI-Cable than what i have. Yours seem to be the one the manual is refering to, black is MINUS and the other ones are PLUS

you have the same CDI i have? Did you see the picture i posted? My Cable CDI -> Battery is exactly what you described, blank wire and 3 more wires connected together. Yes, i am 100% sure...

Hi Andre

this manual is wrong when it says "the black cable is the minus to the battery". Minus is the blank wire while the other 3, black, white and red (ithink) is plus.

no, not Staufenbiel nor Jamara. I got mine from www.rc-now.de, 229,- Euro (50 Euro less than Staufenbiel), shipping included.

Joe,

i ordered mine 3 weeks ago and got it last week. I was surprised as well as i expected it to look like the other ones .. and yes, its still called a GF45 (printed on the shipping box).

i just called up the german distibution for China Models. The guy said that they flew and tested this EXTRA only with .91 FS and didnt need much weight to balance it at the suggest CG....

Be careful with the wheel-shoes. If you "land" bad and manage to break the gear, the shoes will probably destroy the wing (happend to me [:o])

rc_sport-RCU, how did you manage to pull the servo wire through the wing? Im trying since 1 hour now and im about to lose nerves. Any hint would be appreciated.
