Can't speak on the H9 version but the WM T-34 is an excellent flying plane I would recommend. Light weight, easy to assemble, good hardware kit, flies much like a pattern plane/pattern trainer but...

I had the same exact problem. On top of the great advice from the others, you may also want to check and confirm your fuel lines are in good shape as well as checking that you have no holes/cracks...

It's good stuff.. I used it to build the foamy factory 30" modified to 32" 3dx biplane. Frankly, I questioned it during the entire build...very flimsy out of the box... I stripped off the plastic...

You'de be fine with the 46la on the profile. Especially if you already own one. No sense in spending the money on the FX...
