Well I put the wheels back on, I fixed the broken part of the fuse, then I epoxied a 1/16 ply skin to both side all the way back to the CG. If that doesn't strenghten it up nothing will!!! I flew it...

Its a very light plane, so you should be allright, you loose some vertical performane though. Change the gear though the stock ones aren't even worth the aggravation of assembly.

Sounds like a good idea, I'll have to look into it. I also need to change my prop, I have a 13x6 on it now, I think I'll change to a 14X4maybe even a 15X4. it'll slow down my speed and let me idle up...

Thats's why I changed to a Sport Jett, it was too hard for me!! The Sport Jett is awesome, if you get the chance to try one I highly recommed it! They are just a little pricey though, I got mine on...

Flight update! This plane is HUGE fun! On the down side though, the new gear is way stronger... maybe too strong? I had a dead stick landing and the gear just clipped the top of the hay that rings...

Well the weather finally cooperated enough to fly the Subaru with it's new wheels, a huge improvement over the stock ones! I have to say i love this engine combo, what a thrill!! It has so much power...

Well I flew my Subaru again today, this thing will hover at just a couple clicks over idle!! No joke I'm serious! This engine is way too big I LOVE IT!!!:D. I did cave in the main wheels today...

I finally flew my Subaru, it flies great, but way overpowered with the Saito 100. I kind of figured it would be so no surprises there. I'm looking for a Saito 82 now, so I can put my 100 in a H9...

Whats the advantage if changing the head? Is it just a cost thing? It might help to what kind of glow plug is in it now, so I can get some replacements, and where to get them.

If your sugesting that my engine doesn't have a carb with a throttle, it does, do quikkie jett motors come without a throttle on their carbs?

Thanks for the info, the reason I asked is my gyro has flat blades, but they are mounted in the rotor head with a 10 deg. incidence. So I could make them spin what ever way I want them to.
