yes, the wings are very strong as are most sig wings (i love sig kits... im partial i no) BUT! its also VERY thickwhich will cause more sheer stress due to a larger crossectional area. however a .70...

CA also doesent soak in the way wood glue does because of its fast cure rate, making it weaker.

i cant speak for all engine types, i have a few small OS (a .10, .25 and a .40) all run really nice BUT i also havea magnum that i love to death... however its a 1.10 so i cant speak forthe smaller...

1 ca is my choice, to use epoxy you have to rough up the outer tube with sandpaper to make it stick

2 no.... ud turn the engine on and the surfaces wouldjust shake :-p

teflon has a lower coeficient of friction than graphite and i cant think of any ill effects that would arise from teflon and glow fule :-p solve the whole problem :-D use golden rods

not to mention the epoxy will fill any voids made by sanding... but do what you like

use a compas to scrib the exact place to cut by holding the cowl over then fuse with the engine installed... works for me though the cardboard thing looks easier :-D

if you get a band saw with a grove in the table for a guide you can make strait cuts on it just like a table saw (u can even rip boards with it and theres almoast no kerf on a band saw... youd lose...
