Heights are as follows:

At Landing Gear = 14"
At Turtle Deck = 14.5"
Top of rudder = 18.25"
There may be a slight variation due to the fact that I changed out the tail gear from the stock...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

I have looked through pages and pages of this thread. If the answer to this question is posted somewhere I missed it and I apologize.

RE: New 50cc Yak

BasinBum,
Mine is powered by an older A&M 3.2 (essentially a Brison 3.2) I finished mine and flew it this weekend past weekend. It is all stock equipment except the rudder control arms and flys...

RE: New 50cc Yak

I tried the #817s the other night and checked them with calipers. They are too small (roughly 1.7mm, if I remember correctly) and would invite flutter. Like hpergm pointed out, the ID of the...

RE: New 50cc Yak

There must be some cowl mounting hardware variations. I picked up some 3mm socket head cap screws to replace the set screws and they go right through the threaded portion without making contact. As...

RE: Italian made ST .40s

I found the problem! I removed the carb again and took the needles out. I looked through the opening and saw nothing of particular interest. Just for grins, I ran a small piece of wire through...

RE: New 50cc Yak

Just a quick tip. I tried to be careful using RC56 to glue in the canopy but managed to smear some and not get it all off before it dried. I found it to be somewhat difficult not to get it all over...

RE: Engine Identification Help Please

I am totally suprised that I got one that wasn't junk. The reverse is usually what happens if I buy something without getting the details first. Its good to get the background on this stuff. If...

RE: Engine Identification Help Please

I took the prop adapter off and the crank has a big dimple in the end. I also looked at the rod through the carb and it is the dark copper/bronze color. I noticed that you refered to it as a A&M or...

RE: Engine Identification Help Please

What is the difference with the A&M crank that makes it not a good as a Sachs (and not as good as a new one)? The cylinder walls look very good and it has very good compression. I know nothing...

Engine Identification Help Please

I've got a engine that I think is a Brison 3.2, but I have been told that it might have an A&M crank in it. Does anyone recognize this motor? Notice the bent linkages and the BIG bell crank. It...

RE: 25-28% Planes

What about an owners of the Aero Techs, Hangar9s, etc? Are those plane stronger than they look? Are there any others out there that I am missing that would take the Brison 3.2?

25-28% Planes

I currently have a 28% Wild Hare Edge that I really like. It is built well but still performs nicely I have been looking into getting another aerobatic 25-28% plane to put a Brison 3.2 on. From...

RE: Tinting a canopy on WH edge 540

RE: Tinting a canopy on WH edge 540

RE: Tinting a canopy on WH edge 540

I used the Rit Dye method. I feel that it give a more realistic appearance, like smoked glass. It also eliminates the chance of runs, splatter, and uneven application. Test the excess that you cut...
