cutting out the windows...

so i just finished painting my body puting on the decals and now i've started cuting out the windows but it so hard to make circle holes on the windows so the air can flow or what ever the wholes are...

i was wondering, can i paint the wheel well? or will that effect the paint job when i am cutting out the wells and the body...? and how many ppl use the regular masking tape that can be bought from...

i have a HPI rs4 3 type ss, sorry i didnt mention that earlier...
"PS --- The set screw Z251 doesnt screw into the end of 72161.. It screws through A881 and presses down onto part 72161 to hold it...

whats your pick on the two? is it worth the price to buy lexan scissors or are home scissors just as good? also, is it hard to cut out the wheels using the home scissors or do is it worth the price...
