RE: I want a Quad Copter...BUILD or BUY? Please help.

Well to be honest, it's not an issue of 'the best build' because you can buy a useful set of Y, quad or even hex mechanics including ESC's, motors and props for not a whole lot of cash - the issue is...

RE: Graupner Exap

That's kinda what I thought. For pattern or IMAC type flying my MVVS would probably be fine, so I recon it'll be a ZDZ40.

So no one else has tried/seen one of these before?

RE: JR and Graupner Transmitters....

The Graupner MX-22 is in the same case as the 9X but that is where the similarity stops. It probably has more in common with the 10X.

It's actually a 10 channel PCM transmitter or 12 channels in...

RE: heli fuel consumption

Lets see now, .50 + 20% = .60

Would you say that you're seeing 20% greater fuel consumption? Because that would kind of make sense.

RE: Graupner Extra 300 L (Leki) Any Good ?

RE: Graupner ARF Extra 300L LEKI

You won't get many composite jet airframes comparable to a Bandit and certainly nothing from BVM. You're not comparing like for like - the BVM stuff is purpose designed and manufactured in the US for...

RE: Graupner ARF Extra 300L LEKI

Mike, when it comes to Jets there isn't anything like a BVM kit for sheer quality. I've been building a BVM Bobcat Composite and the landing gear is an absolute work of engineering-art. It's hard to...

RE: Graupner ARF Extra 300L LEKI

Thats the exact same motor and cells that I have in a Madness EP - turns a 14x6 easy and is a great prop-hanging machine. I've also put the same setup in a Graupner Ultimate bipe which is designed...

Yeah, I know "carefully".

I'm interested in finding out what the guys with big LiPo setups (6s to 10s) use when charging at the field?

I've been flying electric for sometime and...
