RE: Best cleaning method? Share some tricks and tips...

I've got a portable 120v air compressor that I got at Sears to blow my cars off. Works pretty good. Doesn't get the grim but takes all the loose stuff. I use the rubbing alchohol in a spray bottle...

RE: Rechargable battery pack?

Look for a pack that use quality cells such as GP or Sanyo. They are expensive but will be your best bet.

RE: New to 1/8 Buggies

That 777 from tower doesn't come with anything but the car either. You'd need pipe, engine, radio, servos, starter box to get it going..

RE: Man this hobby is expensive lol.. and i'm a newb

I would just drive both your cars as is and then see what you want to upgrade. Pesonally I wouldn't upgrade servos until they break. As far as radio goes that is really a tough question.. How much...

Fantom 03 .12 Slide Carb Loose, Anyone seen this?

Just wondering if mine is the exception or the rule. Have a new 2003 .12 Fantom with a slide carb. The throttle barrel(part that slides) has a lot of rotation to it and can bind up. Wondering is...

RE: O.S. Filters

Big problem with the OS filters is that they don't have prefilters.. If they did I would use them in a heart beat. Might anyways because I"m thinking of making my own prefilter. You can buy foam...

RE: zlooking to buy my first R/C

Don't rush into anything. Go look at the hobby stores. See what you like the look of. I've got a 777 Sp1 and a XXX-NT. The 777 is indestructible but expensive. XXX and other stadium trucks are not...

GPM Paper Filters, Any good?

Are these style of filters any good? I'm considering one with a prefilter on the outside. Seems like you could use compressed air to clean the inner filter. Let me know what you all think..

RE: Anyone have problems with a 3PM-TFS?

I don't run with the antenna down but when I'm wandering out on the track to right my car I like to lower it so if I trip or hit something the antenna doesn't get snapped off. My XR2i seems to always...

RE: Newbie needs Nitro truck recommendation

One thing to realize is that nitro engines aren't easy... You will probably smoke your first engine pretty fast.. Also these things need work. Plan on spending about as much time on the work bench...

RE: Just purchased a JR XS3...Question?

Jato is a stadium truck.. A 70-100oz steering servo with metal gears will do just fine for it. It is also RTR. It should come with servos if it is NIB. You should be able to use your JR radio and RX...

Anyone have problems with a 3PM-TFS?

Mine seems glitchy. When other people with radios get near my car it cause my servos to move. Also seems to not have much transmit power. Antenna down, car 50ft away. Loses signal. Anyone else think...

RE: Need place online for MP777 parts!(clutch springs)

Starting to really hate my LHSes... Took the springs and engine to them today. The ones they gave me didn't fit. So they dug some Mugen 1.0 springs that had a big enough hole off the wall. Had a hard...
