RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

Well, I was hoping to edit my last post, but...Anyway, I still can't figure out how to "slave" a channel to throttle. However I figure I can use "throttle needle" to set the curve and just mix in...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

What second throttle channel? I can't seem to find it. I used heli mode on my OV-10 (throttle and pitch curves) to sinc up the throttle curves, but would be unable to use rudder mixing that way. I'll...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

That's how I have it set up on my other twins, but they're not tail dragers. I guess I finally out grew my 9C. Time to up grade! My buddy wants to sell me his old JR 9303 ('got the new one) and I...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

I really like the landing gear option you put in J3. Did you have to use the high tourque servos? Also, those retracts are 85deg correct? Does the plane "wobble" on the ground at all with those...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

Engines ran great today (Sunday). I think I had some bad fuel. Also changed the glow plugs. Almost got her off the ground and the landing gear adapters turned out on me! Wow! one thing after...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

"NO Joy" today. I couldn't keep the engines running. One at a time was great, but two? forget it... My P-38 was about the same way.

So, here's what I'll do. New glow plugs with idle bars, change...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

Thanks alot. After remesuring the CG, I noticed it was farther forward than the other marks. I figured 115mm=15CM. Glad I noticed that! 'could have been a bad maiden flight! An extra 7oz was required...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

OK, almost done! So what's the "magic" C.G. number? I was going to go with 115mm like the book shows. Good starting point? Mine will need the battery moved to the back. I thought this thing would...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

Anyone know where I can find a manual for this plane? I sort of "inherited" this plane without one. PDF would be nice.

RE: The Vmax 52?..Worth the run?

Okay. This may be a little late for you, but I think the Vmax 52 kicks butt! I have one I bought for a 46 size pattern model and ended up putting it on a Sig profile Ultimate. It pulls it strait up...

RE: 110 with no Muffler?

I run my YS 91 without a muffler, and it's fine. I'm using Graupner 15X8 prop, YS blend 30% nitro and I get 9,800 RPM. My 110 runs on 15% and a 16X8 APC and gets 9,800RPM with no muffler. Most larger...
