There are numerous 4cell nicad packs of differing capacity and shape. Look around on that tower website or another and you will find something to suit your desires. I like the 1100mah sanyo packs....

Nice report. I moved my battery up to the front on the side under the fuel tank to elminate some of the dead weight I initially had on like what you mention. I see some guys at a neighboring field...

That is one of this airplane's good features, generally easy to get flying again in a short time. :D


I prefer the APC 12.25x3.75, extra mass for idle and a good low gear wide prop for slow...

Nice, but bummer [&o] I was hoping they were going to put it out in a 40 size. My uncle is a retired Lt. Col. WWII vet that has had a few Ercoupes. I fondly remember helping tow one up to his home...

woot ! :) Congratulations :) I am still fussing with my own TwinStar that I aquired some weeks ago. It has a pair of OS 40 LA's on it also. Perhaps in a couple more weeks I can repeat your success...

Yes go with the ailerons. The .40 size engine will give it more capability also, good choice. If it flies as well as it's DuraPlane counterpart it should be fun. Check the balance as you assemble it....
