Yes. Low temp on crock pot. Four hours is enough. I've done several engines and mufflers. Use a bronze or stainless brush to clean the crud.

The built-in down-thrust angle was measured at four degrees. That's three degrees too much. I added hardwood shims under the engine mount.

In my search for an exhaust tubing, I also looked at surgical tubing and found that not only was it expensive, but also not suited for the tempuratures involved.
