Extra vs Edge

Can someone please tell me what the main differance in flight charicteristics is? I love the look of the edge myself. I am looking for something to learn the imac sequences with.

It wouldnt fly my extra 260 with split elevators, not without a reversing y harness, then you couldnt control each half.

I sold mine and got a 9c.

I have an OS 1.60fx on my extra 260 and have never needed an electric starter. The thing starts up after 1-2 flips, sometimes more in the winter.

Every year during our fun fly, we have a contest to see who can stay up the longest. Last years winner stayed up for an hour and 15 mins flying a sig kadet wiht I think a 91 4stroke with a 12oz...

all planes are acrobatic when you flub the landing, they go doing cart wheels across the runway, and doing spins and rolls :D

we have jan 1st fly days too, irregaurdless of the weather. And we fly EVERY thursday if its not raining, or way too windy. Just put some water floats or snow skiis on your plane and have a ball !

I have a TT46pro on my lt-40, and with a 12.25x3.75 prop, it will hover, but with no pullout power, but irregaurdless, its a very good engine, one that I recommend highly.

I am in no hurry to get one, as it appears that winter has set in, but sometime before spring. With that said, will you get in any all white ones before then? If so, any way to let me know?
