Are your blades on backwards? Are you sure you have the control linkages setup correctly? Is the tracking close on the bench by eyeball? I recommend carbon fiber blades as well, I have had woodies...

Yes set the sim up as 90 degree or mechanical mixing, like the poster before said it is similar to setting up a FBL system in that regard.

Sounds like your throttle channel is reversed, try reversing channel 3, and make sure to remove your blades untill you get it sorted!!!

Sounds like either you have only two wires plugged into the motor or the low voltage cutoff is being activated because the battery is not charged? Possibly a loose solder join or electrical connector...

5 degrees should be good if you are taking the time to dial it in. But the reason no one replied is because it is probably the least critical adjustment on the heli, so most just get the servo arms...
