You might want to try a 11x4.7 prop. Pulls my 13 oz 3dx vertical with authority, using a 1350 Thunder Power 3s lipo.

Thanks for the link. It did help. Currently flying a 3 Seebees Standard J-1 with three times that many wires, but it looks like I am doing it right.

I've used the 30% heli fuel in my .25 and .28 powered rc combat planes and never had any motor prolems. Keeping the planes intact was a whole different story. :)

I'm using a 6oz Hayes, with 2 cup hooks. Rubberbands run from landing gear to cup hook above center of tank to lower front cup hook. 1/2 in foam keeps tank from rubbing on the gear mount.
