RE: Green models 120 Tiger Moth

The instructions mention pre-drilled holes in the wing joiners and using a screw to retain the wings to the joiners. No holes in either of the joiners and I don't see any "hardpoints" in the wings...

Hi John,

My Tiger Moth is finally "on the bench".

I also replaced the tail wheel with an Ohio Superstar that looks like it will work out great. I'm not sure how I'll tie it to the rudder....

RE: DWE Micro P-38

Sorry things are not working out on your P-38 Greg. By all means check the lateral balance. You might want to swap the motors to the opposite nacelle. It should straignten out or turn right if the...

RE: DWE Micro P-38

I used a dab of hot melt glue after I had test fit the spinners. Make sure they run reasonably true w/o the glue. Then remove the spinner, place a small dab of hot melt on the front of the prop hub...

RE: DWE Micro P-38

Thanks Greg. I should spend more time reading before I start asking questions. The 210 mAh cells are supposed to be good to 1.3 A so it should be just fine. Spent the bulk of last night fitting the...

RE: DWE Micro P-38

The 250 mAh e-tec cell is larger. Did you remove some foam from inside the nose to fit it? I'm just curious because it appears that it is well forward and setting vertical. The 210 mAh cell is a nice...

RE: DWE Micro P-38

What lipo cell are you using Greg? A 210 mAh just squishes in corner to corner on the diagonal w/o removing any material on mine.

RE: First flight - could have been worse!

RE: First flight - could have been worse!

I've seen the 3x2 used on the KP00 combo...
