It will go like hell for a few flights on 2 cells, then poof! Smoke -- gone!
Try the stock setup with the 8-4.3 prop and 3 cells.
You will be surprised!!

I've been flying my T3D for many months and the best setup I have found for power is the stock motor with the carbon fiber shaft and a GWS 8-4.3 prop. The battery is a 3 cell 250 ma etec lipoly pack....
