Finally repaired the wing.

1/64 ply sheet on outside of each fin, shortened by 1" and capped with 1/16 ply fin-let and topped off 1/16 fin-let.

I will reinforce tail section with 1/64 ply or sheet both sides with 1/16 balsa and shorten and lengthen as you suggest.
It was amamzing evnt after I lost part of the vert stabs the plane flew...

After a few tweeks have added a 50 size tuned pipe and found the engine now is a screamer.

Problem is rear tail feathers parted company will re engineer and make alot stronger.

The engine is an old MVVS 40 Q500 engine, should be good for about 150 mph. Thatshow fast it pulled my MagnumR.

I test flew my New Delta on Sunday and while not fast as on a stand throttle pipe with the manifold way to long.</p>

Recently suffered a big grass with my MagnumR so rebuilt here with a few Revers mods. The tuned pipe is now housed inside the fuse.

Have added a few cooling holes as got hot even in the cold....

Yep I agree with what you say, it does keep the cost down.

My delta is a 37.25 inch span and 21 inch chord.

Sounds good...I have a Predator and have a TT46 pro and a tuned pipe turning a 10*7 and boy does it move at about 115-120 on the straight. Corners like a scared cat on rails. Its fun to keep it close...
