Spektrum DX4C steering issue

My nephew has a DX4C transmitter he uses with a SR410 Rx in his Savage. We recently tried setting up his RC10T4 with a SR310 RX and he has ESC control but no steering. The servo is a HiTec 645MG....

First, running a brushless motor with no load (freely) can cause the rotor to explode of you run it at too high of an RPM, so you might jot want to do that...

Second, the motor should get enough...

Looking at the BLX on Tower I'm thinking it might be a rebranded Castle Sidewinder, so if you already have a brushless motor I'd say go with the BLX.

My first thought was an air leak....With RTR stuff never assume it's assembled correctly.....Some of their QC departments are pretty weak....

I would say go with either an LST2 or an HPI Savage.....Lots of parts and upgrade available for both....The Losi handles best and the Savage is nuclear weapon proof....

Check your directions for the needles settings for breakin, then make sure that's where they're set...If fuel is running out of the pipe and it's not starting your too rich, and if there's no fuel...

I'd use the Factory Team shock towers instead of aluminum. Lighter and just enough flex not to break and stiff enough to not change the suspension geometry for good handling.

The best I can say is try it. I doubt it would hurt the Rx using lower voltage vs higher. If that does'nt work you may have to add a 6v RX pack.

I run O'Donnells %20 Race....any more nitro is kinda a waste of $$$. I run the race fuel because it has %12 oil and is way easier to tune.

I'd try a road rage type tire with as light a wheel as you can find. If the track is as smooth as the pics look I'd try getting your truck as low as possible. You'll only need about an inch to 1.25...
