You dont need a 12 turn motor to go fast, just keep your 17 turn in good condition, skim oftem an replace brushes, lube beraings etc.
You will find that a single wind motor will give you more RPM...

I cant see how Yokomos new drift car would be to much different to a normal tourer, im thinking it would be a very stiff chassis, springs etc. but apart from that it would just be down to the tires....

You can just solder the Schottky Diode on to the motor wires coming from the esc, this way you only need one and dont have to change them everytime you change a motor [8D]

I wouldent recomend running 2 motors from a speedo made for just 1, the motors will be drawing big amps, and the speedo could blow, you would be better of buying a speedo made for 2 motors.

Hi Julio, Try GP3300's. They can be expensive from some shops, but if you search around you can normally find a good set on Ebay for around $40.
