I was using an APC 18x10 on my 33cc Homelite powered Stinson and Hawk and it seemed just right for my application. No 4-stroking that I can remember..... I also have an APC 20x8 prop on...

RE: Brett Green on modelling the Messerschmitt Bf.110

Great pic's Jim!

I figured the stacks would solve your engine woes... Maybe your 33's need more prop? Just a thought..

Beautiful plane Jim,

RE: 33cc homelite

Hey ramms1,

I balanced my Hawk, as per the plans, 1-5/8" in front of the lower wing's leading edge. The plane always flew in a slight tail down attitude, but was very easy to fly and always...

RE: My first aerial pic's

I got lucky this morning and snapped a couple of pic's of that home-built? type aircraft. It was practicing take offs and landings off a grass strip about a mile from my home.

RE: My first aerial pic's

Here's three more. See if you can spot the hawk (or eagle?). Sometimes it's difficult to find a little clear airspace to fly in. What with all the birds (geese, ducks, hawks, and a myriad of other...

RE: My first aerial pic's

Thanks guys, for the compliments!:)

I was surprised at how well the pic's turned out. I took the camera up 5 times and snapped around 30 to 40 pic's per flight. Only a handful of pic's turned...

RE: 33cc homelite

Hi all,
I've been using the Sullivan 24 oz. tank with the aluminum stopper kit. I use the 1/8" brass tubing for the carb line and the 3/16" for vent and fill. The extra fill line is necessary only...

RE: My first aerial pic's

To be honest DTB, I'm not sure how high the plane was. I could go higher, but I'm not sure what my max radio range is. One day I'll get an altimeter gizmo and try again.

Anyone care to guess on...
