Thanks for the reply Syclic.. I hovered a tank through it last night and it already sounds better than the first tank.. I'm getting the gyro dialed in better and feeling more comfortable with it.....

just test flew my hawk pro yesterday for the first time.. i could really hear the drive gears working and it got me wondering if there should be some lube used on them.. i lubed the tail drive gears...

hmmmm... i have an etec 1200mah 2 cell sitting around.. is there a way to have a voltage cutoff to save the lipo from discharging too far? any suggestions as to where to get a good regulator? thanks...

Well I ordered it.. I got the 14mm plug size.. this looks like it will be a fun project.. this US41 has always ran excellent.. it's just a heavy beast.. I'm hoping to shed about a pound of weight.....

we got 12" of snow yesterday.. so instead of water i had to fly from snow.. the ZuMi-H20 is a blast.. you guys really need to build one..

vital - i dont have a lot of experience with a 400 motor direct drive.. but im pretty sure the weak link in your system is the 5 cell battery.... you would have much better results with 7 or 8 cells...

thanks brown.. i remembered reading your posts about that downward force.. and in my searching for ideas i came across The Twinkle.. the designer used a bunch of downthrust to counteract that force.....

congrats hauts! glad to hear it flew.. i never knew the true value of a glue gun till i started building with flat foam.. i even carry a 12 volt converter in my flight box so i can use the glue gun...
