With the airplane inverted on on a stand/table, cowl off and mufflers on, make a template with heavy paper (like a file folder). Remove the mufflers and install the cowling and mark the muffler...

Did you mount your rudder servos in the tail,, direct drive? If so you will be fine with cans. If you did the pull-pull rudder then a little ballast hidden in the stab tube works well too. Don't be...

I have not done any sound testing, but can are much quieter than stock muffs. I have a MX-2/DLE-111 on cans (nice) and the MXS-R/DLE-111 on stock...

Same set up as the MXS-R. The canisters are 'Chinese with hard headers. The headers have been replaced with flex headers.
