RE: Clutch bell gears! Updated?

That's what my clutch bell gears look like right now. I was under the impression that gear mesh was supposed to be close but not tight, guess I'll have to try fixing that. Now if I can only get the...

RE: Need stiffer springs for modified Genesis

I don't know about the gear ratio's but you could probably figure them out by finding out what number of teeth on each gear and going from there. CEN's website has nearly all the teeth numbers on...

RE: Glow Plug Question for the Genisis

Check your head screws also. I went through 3 plugs within 2 tanks until I found my head screws were a little loose causing an air leak.
I wish this motor could run at 400 degrees all the time...

RE: Give me your thought !!

ST,
Looks good but I'm really questioning the need for a full rollcage. I put an upgraded rollbar on mine and it's worked out great. Mine spends alot ot time getting flipped over (something to do...

RE: Genesis 46 Race mode

Also check out the vid from that thread if you have chance, it's not much but I had fun making it :)

Buster

Edit, looks like rcpics removes vids after a certain length of time.

RE: Genesis 46 Race mode

Andrew,
Thanks...... dropping almost 4lbs is pretty good. Kinda surprised your still only clocking at 45 mph with the lighter truck.
FYI I did read a post over at cengenesis.com (I think that's...

RE: Genesis 46 Race mode

Andrew,
With the changes you have made, what have you got the weight down to??
Have you changed the diff cases to the aluminium ones? or did you stick with plastic for weight considerations?

RE: CEN factory Race Genesis

Yeah, come on CEN. How about some details?????? (speed etc)
I like the idea of the 23 mm hexes, been looking for some different rims.

RE: Losi LST vs. CEN Genesis

Thermal,
I'm gonna try for one soon. I've decided to try jumping a truck (saw someone try it in a vid on here and wondered if the Gen could do it).
I've got an old Chevy 1 Ton Dually at work...

RE: Losi LST vs. CEN Genesis

OK, I just had to highlight thoses few points....
1st you say you have your gen at 51mph but have not hit 3rd gear yet [sm=confused.gif]
2nd it take you 2 7.2v battery packs to start your...

RE: WHAT IS BETTER CEN GENESIS OR THE LOSI LST?

I think it might help to know what he wants to do with it. If he wants to race, go with the LST but for bashing I would go with the Gen. I have a Gen and I literally beat the crap out of it every...

RE: Genesis Engine Configurations???

Sorry, I misread your initial post. You can drop a different .46 in, but why would you?? Then Gen engine was designed for a truck and is not just a re-worked heli engine. In my post I was trying...

RE: Genesis Engine Configurations???

I don't know about putting a .70 or a .90 in the gen but I do know that you can't just drop another .46 into it. You would have to do some major modification to get it to work. As it sits now the...

RE: Genesis wheel/wheel hub Q's.

Hey there Thermal!

As everybody has already said, the ofna 17mm hexes fit right onto the Gen axel stubs (gen = 19mm).
As far as shreadding tires, I wouldn't bee too concerned if you are on a...

RE: CEN GENESIS LOOKING TO BUY AND HAVE ?'S

SydGen,
I think I've only ever had to replace one drive cup. A few people have tried replacing the dogbone with a second telescoping driveshaft with some success, this eliminates 2 of the drive...

RE: Genesis Review part III!!

Conrodnz,
I would suggest that you contact your credit card company and file a complaint. Nobody has got a truck from zcars yet. Pretty sure they are scamming people.
